Extracts from a letter sent to Mr. Mordechai Ben-Porat

by Ms. Rona Hart, Press Officer of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, London

Dear Mr Ben-Porat,

I hope you will remember me - we met a number of times during the 1980's when I was Assistant Director of the Committee of Concerned Citizens and have been in touch on a number of occasions while I have been at the Board of Deputies. We have just received a copy of Nehardea, your excellent journal and have found it of particular interest in Babylonian Jewry.

After eleven years as Press Officer at the Board, I will shortly be moving to Yakar Jewish Study Centre as Executive Director. Yakar arranges courses, discussions and events of a cultural nature and I hope that in the future we can perhaps cooperte in bringing the heritage of Babylonian Jewry to a wider public. I do hope there will be occasion for us to work together again

Rona Hart
