* Thanks for holding onto records of my ancestors civilization. Iraqi Government has a lot of them in the black market and destroyed the rest.
Best regards
Warda Shabaz, USA.
* I was much exited to see this website. I myself was born in Burma to parents of Iraqi origin. Although I hardly speak Arabic, I know most of the Piyyutim, and they took me back to the days of my grandparents and their parents. Bless you all! I wish there was some way to learn the almost forgotten language of my ancestors.

* So happy that this website exists. At last I might be able to create my family tree.

* This is a fantastic site. My father fled from Iraq and tries to preserve his traditions in a country where nobody seems to know the Mizrahi tradition. I hope to learn how to continue what my father has learned in his youth. Keep this site alive! I don't know if you realize what an important influence this site has had on our lives.

* Thank you for creating such a great site! It really is fantastic.

* We enjoyed your site which we discovered lately. We are a group of Iraqis who live in USA and particularly in Detroit. It is a very nice site for a most important heritage of the area of Mesopotamia.
Your effort to save that heritage is done so neatly and professionally. Up till now people start realizing what a loss it was when Iraq and Iraqis lost the Jewish community and heritage which is one of the oldest in the land between the two rivers, if not the oldest in the world.
May God bless you all.

* Wonderful website for wonderful work. Good luck!

* Thank you so much for this website. Where I live there are no other Baghdadi Jews and very few Mizrahim. The music on this site is of the same tunes that I and my family use in our daily prayers. I am the son of Baghdadi Jews from Bombay. My family left Iraq before the Baath regime, but I have a special interest in knowing about the Farhud and the Jews still living in Iraq today. Please keep this site up and strong.
