Saleh and I would like to thank you so much for your warm welcome letter and for the Nehardea journal, which always brings much pleasure to our lives.

We would have enjoyed nothing more than being with you and the alumni of the Shamash and Alliance Schools of Iraq, for the international conference.

Saleh would have been very happy to see people he had not seen in years, and had happy memories of. Unfortunately, our health does not allow us the pleasure of partaking in all the meetings and reunions.

Please convey our greetings and good wishes to Saleh's

friends and teachers who helped make life exciting by

sharing experiences, be it writing a school newspaper,

with poems, songs, essays, stories of the Jewish Holidays
