GRACE BALLAS
We offer to our dear friend Jacob Ballas profound condolences on the loss of his beloved mother Mrs. Grace Ballas, who passed away on the 28 Shevat 5956 (18 February 1996).
Mrs. Grace Ballas was born in 1900; she married her husband Mr. Shua Ballas in Amara, Iraq in 1914. Her son Jacob Ballas was born in 1921.
Mrs. Grace Ballas was a simple but astute lady. Through the difficult years of Jacob's childhood and youth she was a tower of strength and comfort within the family.
Mr. Shua Ballas passed away in 1944. Mrs Ballas and her only son Jacob formed a bond of unparalleled love and affection of each other. With her constant and loyal support, Jacob achieved stunning success in his business career. He, in turn, honored and cherished her.
We will never forget her warmth and hospitality, her lively sense of humor, and the love of children. She supported and encouraged Jacob in his charitable work.
She opened the Hall in "Babel Synagogue" in Rishon-Letzion, Israel.
We hope that his deep grief will be lightened by the love of his dear mother's memory.
